Feather nearly leaped into the arms of her rescuer, who happened to be an F4P volunteer, as she was being chased by an enormous tomcat. That was about 3 years ago. After a quick trip to the Vet for testing, spaying and vaccinations, she went into foster care. She loves to maintain an impeccable appearance and she’s fastidious about her litterbox habits. She’s not very keen on other kitties, however, and would probably do best as an only pet. We would not recommend that she be in a family with small children or a dog. It’s become apparent that she was probably teased by hands as a youngster. She will tolerate short periods of adoration and petting which will be followed by a swat when she’s done with you. Still, she’s a fun companion who loves stalking string toys and laser lights and has a penchant for sleeping in the sink… usually without water!
